Stephen brings wide experience from the whole development cycle including advisory, technical, operational and strategic roles dealing with property, infrastructure and development. He has expertise in public - private partnerships and leading Bradford city centre's £2bn investment programme.
Following an early career in engineering consultancy, working for public and private clients, he successfully lead British Waterways business units for over seven years, responsible for a team of over 130 people, £10m turnover, up to 320km of waterway infrastructure, key leisure attractions and associated property and projects.
With this expertise in delivering complex multi-agency developments, he progressed to director roles at Urban Regeneration Companies, in the Tees Valley and latterly for Bradford City Centre. He recently lead the City’s approach on alternative investment funding - Regional Growth Funding, Tax Increment Financing and Enterprise Zones.
As an experienced non-executive Trustee director, he is presently a senior Governor of a Primary School in Leeds. Committed to life-long development his key qualifications and professional memberships are as follows:
